My health journey began in 2003 when I became a Certified Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor and Certified Children's Yoga Instructor at the Asheville Yoga Center; and soon after, a Certified Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise. Continuing my passion for Yoga, I attended Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training with Seane Corn at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.

I was inspired by this Outside Magazine article to do The Clean Program Cleanse, and had a life-changing experience through my 21 day cleanse. I then decided to become a Certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise. While teaching full time at my studio, Yoga for Wellness, I partnered with a local restaurant to provide a 21-day meal prep to inspire my students to do The Clean Program cleanse. In 2011, I recruited my first ninety participants who got to experience the dramatic changes that result from The Clean Program cleanse.

I believe that this cleanse is a simple way to make your life better. Everyone’s experience is different: some individuals see relief from seasonal allergies, others are able to stop taking blood pressure or cholesterol medication, for others nagging aches and pains seem to disappear. These changes can lead to deeper healing.

Once the haze clears, we can view our lives with much more clarity.
